It was Kevin McKidd’s turn to answer some questions this week

This is part 2 of TV Guides Q&A with Kevin McKidd. He talks about a storyline involving George (yes George has his own storyline!) and Alex, what’s happening with Owen & Christina and they try to get him to spill the beans about the T.R Knight & Katherine Heigl situation. Beware! it does include spoilers

Here’s the video of the Grey’s Anatomy feature on This Morning. Chandra Wilson, Eric Dane, Kevin McKidd and James Pickens JR were interviewed about Season 5.

Kevin McKidd talks to the Associated Press about Rome and the possibility of making a movie.

Here’s an interview taken from Scotlands Sunday Mail
HOMESICK hunk Kevin McKidd can’t wait to return to Scotland – because he misses his mum’s skirlie.
The Grey’s Anatomy star plans to head for home for a plateful of the oatmeal and onion dish as soon as he finishes filming the latest series of the hit US hospital show.
Kevin, 35, said: “I don’t know if it is the uncharacteristically wet weather here in California but I am going through a homesick patch, yearning for Scotland.
“When Grey’s finishes filming in May, I get two or three months off, so we’ll be in Scotland for the summer.” McKidd revealed his mum Kathleen’s food was a main reason for returning to Elgin, Moray.
Rumours
He said: “She is the only person who can make decent skirlie which she serves with mince and tatties.
“It’s delicious.” Kevin, who starred in hit TV series Rome, got his big break in Trainspotting.
But he played down rumours of a prequel to director Danny Boyle’s cult drugs movie.
He said: “I’ve not heard a thing. We’ve all aged a bit so I’m not sure how it would work.”
McKidd plays heartthrob Dr Owen Hunt in Grey’s and also starred in US time-travel hit Journeyman last year.
But he’s happy to concentrate on Grey’s this year.
He said: “My poor wife was a TV show widow but there is a really nice balance now.”

Here’s an interview taken from today’s edition on ‘The Scotsman’.
KEVIN MCKIDD IS CONTENT. It’s not so much the fact that he’s relocated his family from the UK to California while he attends to his day job as Dr Owen Hunt on Grey’s Anatomy, nor is it the perpetual sunshine that drenches LA year round, or the handy, 15-minute drive to work that’s making him smile.
No, it’s the fact that he now knows where the coffee machine is. As anyone who starts a new job will know, it’s the little things that matter – and McKidd is no different.
He joined the cast of Grey’s last July, after his starring vehicle, Journeyman, was cancelled (partly because of the crippling writers’ strike that brought most of Hollywood to a standstill last year), and admits to having been in awe of the stellar line-up, massive viewing figures and general juggernaut production values that come together to create a hit show.
More after the jump…

It seems like Kevin now has an army (no pun intended) of fans including Sharon Stone…
SHARON STONE has admitted she is a huge fan of Scots star Kevin McKidd. .
The Trainspotting actor has won an army of admirers since landing the role of battlefield medic Dr Owen Hunt, dubbed Major McHottie, in Grey’s Anatomy.
McKidd, who is from Elgin but now lives in LA, said: “I was on the red carpet at a movie opening the other week when Sharon Stone walked past me and said she loved my character in the show.
“That was pretty cool.” And the dad-of-two was shocked when a US radio show host presented him with a T-shirt bearing the nickname of his character.
He said: “I didn’t realise what a phenomenon Grey’s really is.” McKidd works hard to keep his hunky physique in top condition for fans.
He said: “I get up at 6.30am and go to the gym for all this crazy weight lifting and dragging tyres back and forwards. It’s not fun at all.”

Kevin McKidd has told people.com he needs a Grey’s Anatomy nickname…
Kevin McKidd has gone from playing a time-traveling reporter on NBC’s Journeyman to operating as a troubled trauma surgeon on Grey’s Anatomy.
But the one thing Seattle Grace’s Owen Hunt hasn’t done is procure a McNickname for his character on the ABC show. “They haven’t given me one,” McKidd tells PEOPLE.com with a laugh at a VH1 Save The Music Foundation benefit in San Pedro, Calif. “I’m waiting for that! Some people call me G.I. Joe, but that’s the closest I’ve gotten so far.”
Though he couldn’t divulge any show secrets, McKidd hints that Hunt and George O’Malley (T.R. Knight) will develop a close bond as the season progresses. “It’s interesting what happens with my character and O’Malley in the latter half of the season. I kind of connect with him and see potential in him in a field that even he hadn’t thought about,” says McKidd. “So he really comes into his own in this season and I help him realize he has a natural gift for a certain type of surgery.”
And Grey’s is also finding creative ways to handle costar Chyler Leigh’s pregnancy, which isn’t being written into the storyline. “There’s a lot of scenes, you’ll notice, where there are two guys standing in front of her and she’ll be kind of peeking around,” he says. “That’s how we’re getting around it, in a very old-school way. She’s really showing now. She’s looking really healthy and really happy.” – Jessica Herndon
**George get’s a storyline!!!**
G.I. Joe isn’t really cutting it any ideas for a McNickname?
